fearlesstempAm spending the weekend flitting about between babysitting, familial obligations, and an outing with friends, which means that I am not getting the net/syndicated TV time I would like. Am killing two birds with one stone here, quickly doing the LJ thang while watching my tape of Mutant X. All the new mutants seem to have come back from the summer hiatus with bizarre 'dos, save Shalimar and Adam. I cannot believe I religiously watch a TV show with a character named Shalimar. Moving on!
I have a request. Does anyone out there know how a person could get her hands on Friday's episode of Firefly? And, possibly, the one previous (can't remember the name! Our Mrs. Reynolds, maybe? The one with Mal's pseudo-wife)? I saw the latter but messed up with the VCR so I don't have it on tape and I enjoyed it so that it would be cool to have it, but the former I completely missed because I, tard that I am, programmed the vcr to tape from 8:57 to 9:02 instead of from 7:57 to 9:02 this past Friday. And!! I had another VCR programmed in case I messed up on that one and I think I forgot to turn that one off! I messed up on two (2) VCRS!!! Am so stupid.
I can pay for the cost of the tape and shipping. And I could provide a candy/toy surprise! As well as my undying gratitude.
I ran a check through ebay but didn't see anything -- are there any other places where I could buy them if need be? My obsession with this show has sprung forth fully-formed, as if I've been watching for years instead of weeks and I am so sadly, pathetically desperate. If anyone can help, drop a comment or e-mail me at Scoutmol@aol.com. I would so so so appreciate it.
And now I must run and dry my hair and jet off to a family party. Before that, will be programming both VCRS VERY CAREFULLY to make sure that I tape both Angel and Alias, though I hope to God I'm not at the party that long. I mean, I heart my family! But good TV is good TV.
