'Tis my birthday! Am 22, which is exciting because I have this weird affection for double numbers -- 11, 22, 33, 44. And I have a good feeling about 22. It seems like a good number.

Started the day as all girls should start their birthdays: with the annual trip to the gynecologist (I called months ago and it was the only appointment time available! Dammit.). Can I get a whoop whoop? Or not.

Am now sitting at the computer trying to will myself to finish one of the two final papers I have to get done before tomorrow morning. Also, am going to get my hair cut in about an hour and am having pre-haircut anxiety. Can't decide what to do with it! Am going to call mom and get her advice. Moms do, after all, occasionally know best.

Off to inquire and get going on finals.

Thanks, Kate! And I completely understand the fear of accessing LJ on public computers -- I went a year at my job at school without checking LJ for fear of it being found in the computer's history and my coworkers discovering my curious net habits, especially those involving members of a certain boyband.
