So, as usual, paper due tomorrow and find myself desperate for ways to avoid writing said paper. Like: firing up trusty old paint and trying to create new icons. Like this one! My new default!
Now I keep looking at it and thinking that I've seen it before and worry that I've unconsciously created/stolen someone else's icon. Or something. I worry about these things! Do not wish to step on people's toes, alienate them, etc. I've gone through my mental list of people it reminds me of, but I may have missed the actual person who owns it.
So! If I unconsciously stole your icon, let me know and I will vanish it off of my icon list. Otherwise: Look! Using the twin master craftsman tools of the dotted line boxy tool thing and the shrink/skew function in Paint, I made this! Instead of writing my paper!
Which I really should go do now. But really, isn't this too big a question for a five page paper: "How and for whom were the Civil War and REconstruction a 'crisis in gender'? Do the primary sources show this crisis? Do all historians agree about the nature of the crisis? Address the gender roles for southern women (both black and white, free and slave), as well as northern women to think about the nature of the crisis before, during, and after the war."
Five pages! How can I fit that in five pages and get a good grade? Feh. Must remember: School sucks and I just don't care anymore.
T minus two weeks till graduation!
Life plans: Still nonexistent. I'm going to be living on the edge, man. Actually, more like living with my parents. Whatev.
