May. 13th, 2003 11:30 amAs the daughter of a lawyer, I am not quick to call lawsuits ridiculous or evil or bad or wrong, but seriously. This one just crosses the line. I'm all for protecting children, but is a childhood without Oreos one worth having?
Dude! Snack makers have been lying about how much fat is in their products? The bastards! Oreos are worse for us than we thought? Though part of me would rather they keep the current inaccurate stats on there because the amount of guilt I feel while consuming an Oreo (or two. or five.) is plenty. And I like living in the make believe land where calories don't count if you eat standing up and popcorn is good for you no matter how much butter you put on it.
Now I want an Oreo. And popcorn. Mmmm.
