Nov. 19th, 2002 01:03 amI read in Wanda's E Online chat that Firefly got picked up for two more episodes, which warms my heart but still worries me because I want more!! I want Firefly to live forever! And ever! And ever and ever! I do so love this show.
I've been meaning to send in postcards to support the show but can't find any around here. Which is, you know, not exactly a surprise, because what's there to advertise? "New York: It's Not Just A City, Dammit" -- "Come For The Foliage, Stay For The Depressed Economy" -- "The Hudson: Thisclose To Being Safe For Fishing Again. Seriously."
I kid, I kid. I heart you, Upstate New York! You have made me what I am, whatever that is.
Anyway, have not found any postcards but have written impassioned email to Fox and plan to pick up some cheap blank cards tomorrow and send them in to people. I have never been this motivated about a television show, dudes. And my history of loving possibly doomed television shows is long -- I still mourn for Cupid.
But Firefly must be saved! Because I want it to be, dammit, and it's All About Me.
