the end is near

Gave my Madison presentation today. I was all about the presentations this term, man. I've given six over the course of the past ten weeks -- unbelievable! Can't believe I did it. They're all over now. Phew. Now, just a ten page take home final and a twelve page paper left and then freedom! Woohoo!
I was kind of sad to see my seminar (on the writing and ratification of the U.S. Constitution) end, though. Fourteen junior history majors united in the battle to make it through the required-for-major course. I felt we had developed a bond by the end.
Only class left: dumbass chemistry. Then Anna comes to visit! Woo! Anna was in Germany all Spring Term -- she's my bud. She, my roommate, and I have been almost attached at the hip since freshman year. It was tough to operate on campus without her. Now she's back to visit! Woo!
After the visit: work. Not so woo. I will make it, though. Will! Must! Cannot give into urge to hide under desk in tutoring room until all the tutees go away!
I'm looking forward to no longer having to explain the difference between "a" and "the" to International students. Seriously, why does English have articles? They're just a pain in the ass! Other languages do fine without them!
