There was "something" in our neighborhood recently that was making Indiana Jones, (the adventure dog) and our neighbor's Chihuahuas absolutely bugshit at all hours of the day and night. Turned out to be a ferret. Very pretty and white, and totally tame as it turned out, not a bloodsucker at all.
But I hope yours just turns out to be a mouse, and it moves along soon. Beast of the field need to remain IN THE FIELD.
