That was quite well put and really did make a lot of sense. (Which should probably scare me. LOL)
One of the things that drives me bats in wenn fandom is that rarely do they feedback, and when they do, it's a crappy Betty Sue story that is so awful I couldn't read past the first misspelling. But yet.. a story that is well crafted, well researched and well written in this fandom gets zilch in feedback. Except for a certain someone's condescending "that's not how it was done back then" corrections of minor mistakes, that can easly be fixed. (makes me crazy when she does that... but anyway. :-)
So because of this... all of the good wenn writers have gone elsewhere and only the crap writers remain. And I SO miss good characterization. And a Betty that isn't really someone's SI.
