Right, I didn't think so! I cook so rarely that I tend to take the instructions in a recipe Very Seriously and when it says to put the mixer on a particular setting, I have a hard time thinking outside the recipe.

Thank you for the tip! I found the mixer but may try it by hand first if it will make better cookies.
