FYI, a lot of my posts here are locked because of various concerns. If you add me, odds are good I'll add you back, though you still might not see much of me - I don't post as much as I used to, and sometimes I use a filter for a few close friends I've known for years. You're really not missing much.

Are you aware you share a birthday with legendary 49ers quarterback Joe Montana, hero to millions of Gen-Xers who grew up in the 80's in the SF bay area?

Don't be (too) scared. I only know that because:

a) my birfhday (a typo, but I find I prefer it, so it stays) is June 12 and during the years I idolized the man, I always thought "shoot, I was off by one day!"
b) a custom-calendar project in 5th grade.

nowadays, I prefer baseball.

I did not know that I shared a birthday with Mr. Montana! I did know, however, that I share a birthday with Joshua Jackson, aka Pacey on Dawson's Creek, because of my huge WB addiction in high school (am still working my way off of that addiction, in fact - am almost clean, but Everwood keeps sucking me in with its awesomeness).

I prefer baseball as well. My team, the Mets, are doing awesome this year. I don't think they've had the best record in the league since I started really paying attention to the game in college.
