"for the love of God, it's PUT! P-U-T IS PUT! NOT PLASTIC! NOT PAINT! NOT PLEASE! PUT! PUT! AS IN, PUT AN END TO MY MISERY AND LEARN THIS GODDAMNED WORD!"

Ahahaha. Hahahahahahaha!

I laugh only because I know. It's a bit easier to get less frustrated when they're six, seven, or eight, but after a while you just want to start pounding books on the table.

Also, poor LV need to take the "we'll see" hint. I don't know if you use it in the same way I do, but especially when I was teaching, if a kid asked me something and I said, "We'll see," it basically translated to : "NO. I can't really come up with a good reason why the answer is no, so therefore I won't tell you no, or else saying no will either get me into more trouble than it's worth or into an argument you, which I am trying to avoid here, but I'm still not going to ever actually say no, but that's what I mean and you have about a snowball's chance in hell of whatever you just suggested to me actually happening."

The best part was that it took an ENTIRE YEAR for the kids to figure this out. Most of them never did, but one day at the very end of the year, a kid asked me something and I said we'll see and FINALLY another kid piped up and said, "That really means no." And I was all, DAMN, MY SECRET IS REVEALED.

Anyway. That was random and long. Sorry. :)
